Frequently Asked Questions

How do I close the different ad types?

Each ad has a unique close mechanic. Banner ads have an X button. Swipe ads must be swiped left or right. Video ads require waiting for the skip button. Scam ads have a tiny hidden X. Cookie consent ads require scrolling to "Reject All". Full-screen ads make you hold the X for 2 seconds. The game introduces new types gradually so you can learn.

How do I know which direction to pick?

Look at the blue route line on the map. At each intersection, the route line turns either left, right, or continues straight. Pick the direction that matches the route. If ads are blocking the map, try to clear them first to see the route!

What happens when I pick the wrong direction?

5 popup ads instantly appear on your screen AND you lose one health segment. Your driver will also have something to say about it. Try to keep the map visible so you can read the route before the countdown expires.

How do I win?

Survive the full 69-minute trip (which takes about 7 real minutes). Your ETA counts down from 69 to 0. If you reach 0 without running out of health or getting your screen fully blocked, you win with a massive bonus. Most players don't make it past 10 minutes.

How does the health system work?

You have 5 health segments (shown as a bar at the top of the screen). Each wrong direction or timeout costs 1 segment. Health does not regenerate. When all 5 are gone, the ride is over.

The game is too hard! Any tips?

Focus on keeping the center of the screen (where the route is) clear of ads. Prioritize closing large ads first. Learn which buttons are traps — the big green "CLAIM NOW" buttons always spawn more ads. Build combos by closing ads quickly in succession for score multipliers.

Is the game really free?

Yes. 69 Minutes is free to download and play. It contains real ads (ironic, we know) served by Google AdMob at the bottom of the screen. There are no in-app purchases.

The app is crashing. What do I do?

Try closing the app completely and reopening it. Make sure your iOS is updated to at least version 15. If the issue persists, email us with your device model and iOS version and we'll investigate.

Will there be an Android version?

Yes! An Android version is planned. Follow us for updates on the release date.
